In January of 2013 Blood Foundation had the privelage of inviting Ralph Kiggell and Jacqueline Gribbin, reknown artists in the printmaking field, to Fang.
Ralph, an art professor in Bangkok, and Jacqueline, a printer in Australia, are friends who decided to use their expertise in making woodblock prints to better the lives of the children attending Blood Foundation schools.
The idea came from Jacqueline's experience in Australia, where printmaking is used as a way to empower Aboriginal peoples by allowing them to express the rich beauty of their culture into woodblock prints. The prints are then sold and the proceeds support the Aboriginal artists.
Ralph and Jacqueline hoped to accomplish the same in Fang.
