The year saw a lot of change at Blood Foundation. We decided to transition Daylight Students to government school, Kru Pui, with us from the beginning, moved away to Chiang Mai, and BF Co-founder Jildou Brower returned to actively working in Blood Foundation as my supervisor.
We had wonderful projects, such as the Printmaking Project, and continued in our second year in partnership with SLSF. We launched our Scholarship Program and received donations from non other than the famous author Christopher Moore and his fans.
For me, it was a year of learning, and the curve was a steep one coming directly from undergrad to a full-time management position. Although overwhelming at times, I have increasingly enjoyed being a part of Blood Foundation's work, and am excited for what the future holds.
So, with figurative glass in hand, I toast to another year at Blood Foundation, and hope that I may give back to the children we serve as much (and more!) as Blood Foundation has given to me in experience.
